Q: What are Magic Truffles?
A: Magic truffles are actually called sclerotia. Sclerotia are hardened pieces of mycelium that only few types of fungi produce underground, when the conditions are not ideal to start fruiting.
Q: Magic truffles are they magic mushrooms?
A: No. Magic mushrooms are the fruits of a fungus and the function is to reproduce the fungus. Magic truffles are sclertotia their function is food storage for the fungus.
Q: What is the dosage for magic truffles?
A: One dose starts from 5 grams for beginners. A medium trip is 10 grams and a strong trip starts from 15 grams and up.
Q: How old must I be to purchase magic truffles?
A: The official age is 18. We recommend to be 21 years or older for having truffles.
Q: How should I store the magic truffles?
A: You should store the truffles inside the vacuum package in a refrigerator (2-7 degrees Celsius).
Q: How long can I store the truffles?
A: The truffles can be stored refrigarated until the expiration date that is written on the package. After opening the package, the truffles should be consumed within 5 hours.

Q: Do you have a shop I can visit?
A: No. We sell our products online only.
Legal
Q: Do you sell magic mushrooms?
A: No. Since December 2008 it is illegal in the Netherlands to sell magic mushrooms. Magic-Truffles-Shop.com abides to the Dutch law and we do not sell products that are banned in this country.
Q: Are your products legal in my country?
A: We do not know which products are legal in other countries. Make sure that you can by law import, posses, use or cultivate the products you order. Orders that have been confiscated by customs will not be refunded.
Ordering
Q: From which payment methods can I choose?
A: Currently you can choose from:
- International Bank transfer.
- iDeal (the Netherlands)
- Cash (by mail)
When you have placed an order and have chosen your payment method, you will receive a detailed confirmation email with further instructions on how to proceed with the payment. Click here for more information about the payment methods.
Q: Can I pay by Credit Card ?
A: No. We do not accept the credit card payments.
Q: Can I pay my order by sending you cash in an envelope?
A: Yes, this is possible. Always send the envelop registered. This will give a guarantee to you and us that the envelope arrives. More information about payment can be found here
Q: Do I have to give my phone number?
A: No, you do not have to give your phone number, but we highly recommend it. The phone number will be used by the delivery service to contact you when something has happend with your package. When it's late, the address is wrong or to make an appointment for delivery when you are not home they can contact you.
Shipment
Q: Do you ship products to other countries?
A: Yes, we ship to other countries. We ship our products to countries in the European Untion. We do not ship outside of the EU and this is not open to dispute. Questions if we can make an exception will not be answered.

Q: How long will it take before I will receive my order?
A: When the payment is completed and the money is on our account we will send you the order within two days. When you place an order, and choose for the shipping method, you will see what the indicative delivery time will be after shipment
In rare cases it might occur that we do not have the product(s) you ordered in stock. When this is the case we will send you an email on when you can expect your order to be shipped. This will never be more than two weeks after you have placed the order.

Health
Q: Are Truffles dangerous?
A: When used correctly, tripping on truffles is safe. Make sure that you are well rested and do not participate in traffic while you are under the spell of the truffles. It is important that you feel confident in taking them and that you are in good mental and physical health. Never take truffles in combination (before, during and after the effects) with other substances. Especially no alcohol!

Q: What is a Bad Trip?
A: This is when your truffle trip is affected by negativity. A person might become anxious, paranoid and sometimes even hysterical or violent. Luckily a bad trip doesn’t happen very often. When they do, it is often the result of bad preparation prior to the trip. Also, because magic truffles are psychedelic, they can open up doors of suppressed memories and this often comes with the release of strong emotions. This can be so unexpected to the (often inexperienced) user that they get caught in a spiral of negative thinking. Also the addition of the use of alcohol can be responsible for the inability to channel these surfacing emotions. Conclusion: when you take magic truffles be in good health and do not use other substances in combination with the effects of magic truffles.
