Details
Parafilm is made from a paraffin plastic. It is very flexible and self adhesive thermo plastic.
You can easily bend it around the mouth of flasks or petridishes and stays put. This way you can easily close of your specimen from contaminants.
The Parafilm comes on a roll and is protected with a layer of paper which can easily be removed.
Parafilm is not autoclavable.
