Rye Grain is used as part of a slerotia substrate. This rye grain is high quality and 100 % organic.

Rye Grain is available in two package sizes. 100grams and 1kg.

Vermiculite is a naturally occuring mineral and the key component of a PF-Tek cake. The use of vermiculate is wideranged and there are several grain sizes (grades). Vermiculate grade 3 is used by truffle cultivators and gardeners as the perfect soil conditioner. Grade 3 gives nutrients and support to roots and mycelium. Grade 3 Vermiculite also leaves plenty of room for the soil to let air run through.

Perlite is a natural volcanic mineral and is in fact a porous glass.

Perlite is used by mushroom and truffles cultivators because it is hydrophilic (attracts water) and is very light weight. Perlite is necessary to keep your substrate moist after the soaking process.

Spore germination made easy!

One of the more difficult things to achieve is to make the spores germinate. This liquid culture growth medium simplifies that process by a factor 100. Just inject 1ml of spore-solution into this vial and shake the vial daily. After one week the spores have formed into mycelium and you can inject this mycelium in your cake. A musthave for all homegrowers.
